Melbourne physiotherapist Jane
Senior Physiotherapist

A University of Melbourne Physiotherapy graduate, Jane earned her stripes working in highly respected private physiotherapy practices in Australia and abroad. With nearly a decade’s experience, she joined Collins Place Physio (now The Alignment Studio) in 2013. Our resident Roger Federer fan, Jane brings to the team a passion for treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries, with a focus on healing neck, back and shoulder pain.

Regardless of whether she’s working with active or sedentary clients, young or old, Jane always strives to go above and beyond the four walls of the treatment room. Approaching each patient as a whole, she takes into account the people around them and their life's demands before journeying with them through injury towards full recovery, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Committed to continuous learning, Jane has also completed additional study that includes: Occupational Health Physiotherapy Level 1, DMA Pilates Level 1 & 2, Kinetic Link Training Level 1 and Functional Movement Screen Level 1 & 2. She is also trained in postural analysis technology, and is in high demand for her workplace ergonomic assessments.

A huge advocate for the postural benefits of Pilates, you’ll often find Jane perfecting her mermaid in our Reformer Pilates classes.

Jane speaks Malay, Hokkien & Mandarin.

The piece of advice I wish clients listened to…

“Understand your own life’s demands, own your health and invest into it. Exercise, sleep, stress management, food, physiotherapy, massage… these are all factors that play a part in keeping you healthy."

Go-to stretch…

“Glute stretch. It’s a great stretch both for office workers who spend too much time sitting, and for athletes who have tight glutes from overuse.”

Favourite thing about working in Melbourne CBD…

“The CBD buzz, good coffee, good food. And the chance of running into the world’s top tennis players every January!”
