Naiha Sahota

A Bachelor of Physiotherapy graduate from the Australian Catholic University in sunny Brisbane, Naiha is skilled at treating a diverse range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. With a background in private practice, she brings to The Alignment Studio a special interest in injuries and conditions of the neck, shoulder, hip and back, and a passion for exercise rehabilitation.

With DMA and APPI Pilates qualifications in addition to Level 1 Strength and Conditioning, Naiha is heavily involved in our movement-based Clinical Rehab program. Having also completed further training in Women’s Health Physiotherapy and Dry Needling, she prides herself on combining a hands-on approach with progressive exercises to achieve a return to full function and treat the underlying causes of patient pain and dysfunction.

With a love for adventure and the great outdoors, Naiha spends much of her spare time trying to keep warm on the running track, at the beach or on hikes, or embracing the winter chill by hitting the ski slopes.

The piece of advice I wish clients listened to…

“Your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Taking ownership of your mindset can help with motivation levels and speed up recovery.”

Go-to stretch…

“Child's pose—one of the most relaxing and effective stretches for your hips, ankles, back and shoulders. Plus, it's also incredibly calming for the mind!”

I unplug, unwind and recharge by…

“I am all about self-care! Massages, meditation, relaxing to music, yoga and spending quality time with uplifting and optimistic people.”
