With over 30 years’ experience as a physiotherapist, Peter draws on his vast professional knowledge and hands-on therapy techniques to effectively resolve patient pain. A long-serving member of The Alignment Studio (formerly Collins Place Physio) team, Peter is adept at treating a diverse range of musculoskeletal injuries, with a special interest in neck and back conditions and the area of TMJ dysfunction and jaw pain.
Completing specialist training in temporomandibular joint (TMJ) physiotherapy in 2017, Peter previously consulted at The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. His extensive experience in assessing, diagnosing and devising treatment plans for jaw pain has made him the go-to physio for TMJ treatment in Melbourne.
Also having completed studies in assessing and treating vestibular dysfunction/vertigo, Peter’s thirst for professional development has seen him attend countless courses and evening lectures throughout his career. A keen student, he also enjoys sharing his knowledge, and counts teaching at the University of Melbourne Department of Physiotherapy for seven years as a career highlight.
Well known for his ethos of going above and beyond in the provision of care for his patients, in 2013 Peter was awarded The Lord Mayor’s Silver Commendation for his significant contribution to the health and vitality of the Melbourne community.
