Matt Chisari

Physiotherapist

Raised on a vineyard in Mildura, Matt is a skilled and caring physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. Passionate about rehabilitation, strength training, and movement-based therapy, Matt has worked across multiple areas of physiotherapy, including musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, paediatric physiotherapy and within the NDIS sector.

With an abiding love for sport shaped by years of playing football throughout regional Victoria, travelling across the state for games and competing in various leagues, Matt’s experience spans from helping athletes recover from injuries and optimise performance to assisting individuals with neurological conditions in improving function and independence.

His areas of special interest include sports injuries, return-to-running programs, lower back rehabilitation, paediatric therapy, and disability functional rehab. Ensuring each client receives individualised care tailored to their needs, Matt uses a holistic approach that combines manual therapy, exercise education, and practical tips on gym work, football recovery, and injury prevention.

When not at TAS, you’ll find Matt lacing up the boots and playing footy—balancing his career with his lifelong passion.
