Designed for clients with injuries, biomechanical inefficiencies, chronic pain, or illness, these sessions blend physiotherapy with Pilates and exercise science. OUR CLINICAL PILATES PROGRAM:

All new clients are required to complete at least one one-on-one session with a physiotherapist before transitioning into group clinical pilates sessions. After a thorough initial assessment—often utilising real-time ultrasound to provide visual feedback around the correct core muscle activation—we structure an individualised program around your injury history and movement mechanics.

During your private sessions, we introduce to you to any Pilates equipment that might be used during your rehabilitation. This ensures your exercise program can be conducted effectively and safely in a small group environment.

Once you’ve completed at least one one-on-one session, you can continue with private pilates classes or move into our group physiotherapy classes. With a maximum of three clients, these classes are an economical option that still allows for a fully individualised rehab program.

Claiming on Private Health Insurance

If you have physiotherapy cover, you should be able to receive a private health insurance rebate for both private and group Clinical Pilates classes. Please check with your insurer before commencing a pilates class if you are unsure.

PLEASE NOTE, for claiming purposes our Clinical Pilates & Rehab classes are classified as Group Physiotherapy consultations (HICAPS code 560) and must meet the following criteria:

  • A pre-intervention assessment is conducted by a physiotherapist
